Why the order matters
Email keeps arriving while you move. If the MX records change before the new mailboxes exist, mail bounces. If the new provider isn’t in your SPF record and signing with DKIM first, the mail you send from it can land in spam. So the new provider is set up and allowed to send first, the MX records change in one go, and the old provider is only taken out once nothing arrives there any more.
Private by design
The checks run in your browser and ask Cloudflare’s public DNS directly. Your domain isn’t sent to KT8 or kept by us, and your ticks stay in this browser.
Keep watching afterwards
Add the domain to My domains and we’ll check its email records every 6 hours and email you if one changes or breaks. DMARC reports then show every service sending as you, including the new provider.
