Moving from WordPress? Bring your posts with you

Export your WordPress site and import it into your new blog. Your posts, pages, categories, tags and pictures come across, and you stop paying for WordPress hosting. See how.

What you get

Everything you need to run a blog that belongs to you.

One-click set-up

The same simple installer as KT8 Mail. No terminal, no code and no settings to hunt for.

A proper editor

Write and format posts, add pictures and organise them into categories, all from your browser.

Your own web address

Use a domain you already have on Cloudflare, or start with a free address and add one later.

Fast everywhere

Pages are served from Cloudflare's network, close to your readers wherever they are.

Private by design

No adverts, and no tracking added by us. Your readers' data stays on your account.

Easy updates

Run the installer again whenever there’s a new version. Your posts, pictures and settings stay as they are.

Plugins included

Switch on the extras you want from your blog’s admin. They come built in, so there’s nothing to install.

API and AI

Every blog comes with its own API and AI connector, ready to use. Nothing goes through KT8. See the developer page.

Write with AI

Add your blog to Claude or ChatGPT at /_emdash/api/mcp and say “draft a post about…” or “fix the typos in my last post”. It signs in through your blog, and you choose what it may do. Connect Claude.

REST API

Read and change posts, pages, pictures, menus and settings from your own code, at /_emdash/api/, with an OpenAPI description so developers can generate code from it.

Access tokens

Create tokens in your blog’s admin for scripts and automations. Each one is limited to what you allow, and you can switch it off at any time. How tokens work.

How it works

The same steps as installing KT8 Mail. It takes a few minutes.

  1. Sign in with KT8One account for everything we make.
  2. Connect your Cloudflare accountYour blog runs on your account, not ours.
  3. Pick your web addressYour own domain, or a free address to start.
  4. Open your set-up linkName your blog and create your admin sign-in with a passkey.
  5. Start writingYour blog is live and ready for its first post.

KT8 Blog Builder runs on Cloudflare’s free plan. For busier blogs we recommend Cloudflare’s Workers Paid plan ($5 a month, paid to Cloudflare), which gives you more speed and room to grow.

A one-off payment of £39 for a lifetime licence

Try KT8 Blog Builder for 14 days. Every 1.x update is included.

If you don’t buy, your blog stays online and nothing is lost. Only writing and editing wait for a licence.

Your licence is yours for life. Your own blog checks the key itself and never asks us, so it keeps working even if KT8 closes. There’s no pressure to upgrade: keep the version you have for as long as you like, and nothing you’ve paid for will stop working.

Your blog runs on Cloudflare, so changes Cloudflare makes to its own services are outside our control. KT8 Blog Builder is built on EmDash, which is open source (MIT licence).

Help and guides

Step-by-step help, from your first post to your own domain.

Built on open source

KT8 Blog Builder is based on EmDash, open-source blogging software (MIT licence). We add the one-click installer, a starter design, the KT8 and ReaderCount plugins and updates through KT8, and your blog never depends on us to keep running.
