Questions about KT8 Publish
When does it open?
We’re testing it now and will open it to writers a few at a time. Register your interest and we’ll email you as soon as your place is ready.
Do you take a cut of my subscriptions?
No. Paid subscriptions go into your own Stripe account and we don’t take a percentage. Stripe charges its usual card fees, and your plan price stays the same however much you earn.
Why do you check every writer?
One spammer can harm everyone’s email and reputation. Checking each blog before it goes live keeps the platform clean, keeps your newsletters out of spam folders and keeps pages fast for everyone.
What if I go over my plan?
Page views are a guide, not a cliff edge: we’ll get in touch before anything changes. Emails and members have a monthly limit, and you can move up a plan at any time.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Your blog starts on an address of ours so you can begin straight away, and you can switch to your own domain whenever you’re ready. We set up the security certificate for you.
How is this different from KT8 Blog Builder?
KT8 Blog Builder puts the same blog on your own Cloudflare account for a one-off price, and you look after it. KT8 Publish is the same blog, looked after by us, with members, newsletters and paid subscriptions built in. You can move between them whenever you like.
Who owns my writing?
You do. Your posts, pictures and members are yours, and you can download them all at any time.
Where is my blog served from?
Pages are served from Cloudflare’s worldwide network, close to each reader, so your blog is quick wherever they are.
