Every alert comes by email. Add channels to post alerts in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat or your own webhook: 1 channel on Solo, 2 on Business and 5 on Business Plus.
- Each alert says what went wrong, such as “it didn’t answer within 10 seconds”.
- A second alert when it’s back, with how long it was down.
- Posts to your own webhook are signed, so you can tell they came from us.

Email, plus 1 channel. 1 team seat.

Alerts can wait until morning.
Set quiet hours for your account, such as 22:00 to 07:00 in your own time zone. Alerts that come up overnight wait, and arrive in one email when quiet hours end. If you’d still like to hear about a website going down straight away, tick one box.
Moving a website or changing your DNS? Pause a domain’s alerts for up to a week. We keep checking, but send nothing about it until the pause ends.
Quiet hours
From 22:00 to 07:00, Europe/London. Website down alerts still come straight away.
No floods of alerts.
If a site goes up and down 3 times in an hour, we send one email to say so. Each plan also has a daily limit on alert emails, so a bad day never fills your inbox: 10 a day on Solo, 20 on Business and 40 on Business Plus.

Can the whole team see alerts?
Yes. Add a channel to post every alert in a shared Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord or Google Chat channel, so whoever is around can pick it up.
Do you send text messages or make calls?
No. Alerts come by email and to the chat channels above.
Will I get an alert when it’s fixed?
Yes. You get a second alert when the site or server is back, with how long it was down.
