KT8 DMARCAlerts and TLS reports

Hear about problems with your email before your customers do.

We look at every domain’s reports once a day. If something changes, we email you, or post in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat or your own webhook. If nothing changes, we stay quiet.

For busy owners and IT managers who don’t want to read reports every day and agencies who watch many client domains.

At a glance

  • An email when a new service sends as you
  • An email when your own mail starts failing
  • An email when reports stop arriving
  • TLS reports, with an alert when mail to you isn’t encrypted
  • Each alert switched on or off for each domain
  • Quiet hours, and pausing a domain’s alerts
Four alerts

Only the changes that need you.

You can switch each alert on or off for each domain. We only tell you about each change once, so you don’t get the same email every day.

New sender

Someone new starts sending email as this domain.

Your mail failing

A sender that’s yours starts failing DMARC. You can limit this to senders you’ve marked Mine.

Reports stopped

No reports for 3 days, which usually means the DMARC record changed.

Encryption failing

Mail servers report that email to you couldn’t be sent encrypted. At most once a week.

TLS reports

Check that mail to you arrives encrypted.

Mail servers that support TLS reporting, such as Google and Microsoft, send a daily report saying how many of their connections to your mail servers were encrypted, and why any weren’t. We collect them beside your DMARC reports, at a second report address of your own, and keep them for 12 months.

TLS reporting comes with every paid plan.

Where alerts go

Alerts where your team already works.

Every alert comes by email. On Business and Business Plus, send them to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat or your own webhook too: 2 channels on Business and 5 on Business Plus.

  • Quiet hours: alerts that come up overnight wait, and arrive in one email when quiet hours end.
  • Pause a domain’s alerts for up to a week while you move a website or change your DNS.
  • Posts to your own webhook are signed, so you can tell they came from us.

Solo

Email alerts.

Business

Email, plus 2 channels.

Business Plus

Email, plus 5 channels.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Are alerts on the Free plan?

No. Alerts and TLS reports come with every paid plan and the 14-day free trial. The Free plan shows every sender with the steps to fix it.

Will I get lots of emails?

No. Each alert is only sent once for each change, and you can switch off any of them for any domain.

How quickly will I hear?

Mailbox providers send reports once a day, so DMARC alerts come within a day or so of the change. Reports usually cover the day before.
